This asset is located in the Smoky River valley, north of Grande Cache, Alberta. This plant is a 300 MW dual fuel steam turbine generator capable of burning both natural gas and coal. This asset was commissioned in 1972 and is owned by the Milner Power Limited Partnership (MPLP).
